MALUKU

Maluku or internationally known as the Moluccas is one of the oldest provinces in Indonesia. Its capital is Ambon. In 1999, some areas of Maluku province divided into North Maluku province, with its capital in Sofifi. Maluku province consists of islands known as the Maluku Islands.


Musical




Tifa
Famous musical instrument is Tifa (a type of drum) and Totobuang. Each musical instrument from Tifa Totobuang have different functions that are calm and support each other to give birth to music that is very unique color. But this music is dominated by musical instruments Tifa. Which consists of Tifa, Tifa Jekir, Tifa Association, Tifa Cut, Cut and Tifa Tifa Jekir Bas, plus a large Gong and Toto Dump, which is a series of small-gong gong in place on a table, with several holes as a buffer.


Dancing


Cakalele 

The famous dance Cakalele depicting war. This dance is usually performed by the men, holding the machete and salawaku (Shield). This dance is a symbol of embarrassment when people resist / repel invaders.
Bamboo Crazy Dance
One of the traditional arts of the most antique Maluku is dance "Fur Crazy" or often called the dance "Bamboo Crazy". This dance is very interesting. If we go to Maluku we must look at this dance. Bamboo dance crazy is a special dance that is magical, from the village of Suli. The uniqueness of this dance is the dancers as if burdened by a bamboo that can move out of control and this dance could followed by anyone.

Beach City Doors

Sago Plate Original Maluku

If you enter a village or villages in the Moluccas, one thing that immediately stands out is the one building looks different from most home residents. The building is typically larger, built with materials better, and decorated with more ornaments.
